Where is Cannabis Maximus located?

We’re at 725 Putney Rd, Suite 2, Brattleboro, VT 05301, just minutes from the New Hampshire and Massachusetts border and I-91. Our shop is easy to find with plenty of parking for locals and visitors.

Do I need an ID to purchase cannabis?

Yes. Vermont law requires customers to be 21 or older with a valid government-issued photo ID at the time of purchase.

Can I use a credit or debit card?

Cannabis Maximus accepts both cash and debit cards for purchases. Credit cards are not accepted due to federal regulations. For your convenience, we also have an ATM on-site.

What are your store hours?

Our operating hours are:

Mon – Wed: 8am – 7pm
Thu – Sat: 8am – 8pm
Sun: 10am – 6pm

Do you sell medical cannabis?

Yes. We proudly serve both recreational and registered medical cannabis patients in Vermont. Whether you're shopping for wellness or recreational use, our knowledgeable team is here to help you find the right products for your needs.

How much cannabis can I buy at once?

Vermont law allows you to purchase up to:

– 2 ounce of flower

– OR the equivalent in concentrates, edibles, or other cannabis products

Do you have a loyalty program?

Yes! Join the Cannabis Maximus Loyalty Club and earn $0.10 back for every $1 spent.

New members receive a $2 half-gram pre-roll when they join.

Can I order online for in-store pickup

Absolutely. Browse our live menu online, reserve your products, and pick them up in-store.

Do you have staff to help me choose products?

Absolutely! Our knowledgeable budtenders are here to answer questions, suggest products, and help you find the right cannabis products to best suit your needs.

Can I bring my pet inside?

Yes! We are pet-friendly and welcome well-behaved pets inside our store. However, we ask that all pets remain leashed and under control at all times.

Do you accept returns?

Due to cannabis regulations, we cannot accept returns on any cannabis products. However, if there’s an issue with your purchase, please contact us, and we’ll do our best to assist you.

Legal & Safety Information

Can I consume cannabis in public?

No, Vermont law prohibits consuming cannabis in public places. Consumption is allowed only on private property with the owner’s permission.

Can I take cannabis across state lines?

No. Transporting cannabis across state lines is illegal, even to other legal states. Keep it within Vermont!

Can I drive after consuming cannabis?

No. Driving under the influence of cannabis is illegal and dangerous. Always arrange for a sober driver if you plan to consume.

Can New Hampshire and Massachusetts residents legally purchase cannabis in Vermont?

Yes. Adults 21 and older may legally purchase recreational cannabis in Vermont with a valid government-issued photo ID, regardless of their state of residence.

Can I legally bring cannabis back to New Hampshire or Massachusetts?

No. Cannabis may not legally cross state lines, even between states where cannabis is legal. We recommend consuming purchases only where permitted by Vermont law.
